2013 Winners

The Fire Awareness Awards have ended on a high with the announcement of all award winners and grant recipients during a ceremony on 4 December.

The glamorous RACV City Club in Melbourne was abuzz with winners and finalists from across the state, celebrating with senior members of Victoria’s fire agencies and ministerial representatives in a night of acknowledgement and recognition.

ABC Local Radio’s Jonathan Ridnell was MC for the evening, with a guest speech from Raelene Thompson Executive Director Australian Emergency Management Institute.
We were honoured to have the awards and grants presented by Minister for Police and Emergency Services The Hon Kim Wells MP, Parliamentary Secretary for the Environment Brad Battin MP, Craig Lapsley Fire Services Commissioner and Graeme Chipp RACV Director.

Congratulations to all award winners and grant recipients – and thank you for your tireless efforts in reducing the effect of fire in Victoria!
