2010 Grants
The 2010 Fire Awareness Awards also have two types of grants on offer. The grants provide a community group, school, not-for-profit organisation, volunteer or individual withthe opportunity to develop and undertake a new fire project, or further an existing fire project, in Victoria.
RACV Insurance Fire Safety Grant
The RACV Insurance Fire Safety Grant assists a community group, school, not-for-profit organisation, volunteer or individual to develop and undertake a new fire safety initiative, or further develop an existing fire project. Up to $10,000 will be awarded to the most outstanding proposal that best addresses all grant guidelines.
Special Incentive Grants
The Special Incentive Grants are designed to assist an individual, group or organisation. Recipients will receive a grant of up to $2,000 towards the cost of implementing their fire project.
Benefits of applying for Grants:
- Grants provide monetary assistance to carry out a proposed fire project, or further develop an existing project.
- Recipients may benefit from promotional opportunities in the following 12 months after receiving their grant.
- Recipients may use the 2010 Fire Awareness Awards logo on their collateral for promotional purposes.
