Grants

The 2012 Fire Awareness Awards program has two types of grants on offer.  The grants provide a community group, school, not-for-profit organisation, volunteer or individual with the opportunity to develop and undertake a new fire project, or further an existing fire project, in Victoria.

RACV Insurance Fire Innovation Grant

The RACV Insurance Fire Innovation Grant assists a community group, school, not-for-profit organisation, volunteer or individual to develop and undertake a new fire initiative, or further develop an existing fire project. Up to $10,000 will be awarded to the most outstanding proposal that best addresses all grant guidelines.

Special Incentive Grants

The Special Incentive Grants are designed to assist an individual, group or organisation. Recipients will receive a grant of up to $2,000 towards the cost of implementing their fire project.

Benefits of applying for Grants:

  • Grants provide monetary assistance to carry out a proposed fire project, or further develop an existing project.
  • Recipients may benefit from promotional opportunities for the 12 months following the presentation of their grant.
  • Recipients may use the 2012 Fire Awareness Awards logo to promote their project.

Entry tips

Follow these tips to make your award entry and submission easier.

With entries now open it’s maybe a good idea to create your log in account and get yourself all setup first.

Take your time to compile your entry information and work out the right category. You can apply for more than just one award category. So do you project justice and consider more than one.

You can still go back and alter your application even after you have submitted, right up until entries close on October 2nd.

Send us some photos along with your entry. Having photos will make our judging process a bit easier when it comes to learning about your project i.e. what it does and what it looks like, however they are not essential.

and finally if you have ANY questions on the awards please contact us.
